Our colleague Denise Toldo, CICE is representing the #LuxembourgConventionBureau at Association Days in Padua (Italy), from 29 to 31 January, a key international platform dedicated to the #AssociationMeetings community.

For Convention Bureaus, association meetings are a cornerstone of the #BusinessEvents sector: they drive long-term destination visibility, knowledge exchange, recurring events and strong international networks. Engaging with this community is essential to understanding evolving needs and shaping relevant destination support.

⭐We are pleased to connect with peers and partners and to contribute to the dialogue in Padua. Many thanks to the organiser Eureka MICE International and to Padova Convention & Visitors Bureau and Padova Congress for hosting this valuable event.

Europe is strong, important and powerful.⭐

Alliances in politics, as well as science, and economics help everyone to become more effective, resilient and successful. In the #meetingsindustry the Strategic Alliance of the National Convention Bureaux of Europe connects 30 #CVBs on a national level and conducts important projects and networking events.

The #LuxembourgConventionBureau is member of this European Alliance, and CEO Dr. Bettina Bunge had the opportunity to join the conference in #Dublin, Fáilte Ireland, ending today.

Her first comment: “I feel very privileged to be part of this professional network with amazing colleagues from across Europe. We had important discussions, e.g. on sustainability & inclusion in the meetings industry, with on site explanations on barrier free transportation & mobility options, at The Wayfinding Centre, a unique place in the world. Our aim is to meet, connect and accelerate our work in the meetings industry.”

The #LuxembourgConventionBureau is pleased to be represented at the 1st #CityDNA CVB Expert Meeting in Graz (20–21 January 2026) by Tiziana Caruso, CICE, Business Development Manager.⭐
 
This new initiative by the City Destinations Alliance | CityDNA brings together Convention Bureau professionals from across Europe to exchange on strategy, market trends and the evolving role of CVBs in supporting international #BusinessEvents. Through open dialogue, peer learning and collaborative workshops, the meeting offers a space to rethink how destinations can create more value for organisers and communities alike.
 
By taking part in this expert forum, LCB continues to strengthen its international network and bring fresh insights back to #Luxembourg, helping us better serve associations, corporates and partners planning events in our destination.
